Your Support Is Working Miracles....

 

The ARKGroup has been blessed with a marvelous year.

 

The year is summed up in the words of Brittany J., a participant in an ARK for Parents group. She and her husband were experiencing a great deal of difficulty in dealing with the disruptive behavior of their adopted teenage son. They were receiving a daily call from the boy's principal at school, and they had reached the point where their differing approaches regarding how to discipline Matthew were creating rifts in their marriage. Brittany reports, "Our ARK group was a tremendous source of support in helping our family to navigate a very difficult stretch. Thanks to the suggestions of group members, my husband and I have gotten on the same page in dealing with Matthew. Our son is doing much better. We've moved from emotional chaos to a more peaceful atmosphere that is characterized--at least most of the time--by respectful communication. I actually give ARK credit for saving our marriage! Really, it's been pretty miraculous."

 

A quick update....

 

In Dallas, we're working with nine Dallas ISD elementary schools in West Dallas and community service organizations such as the Dallas Housing Authority, Head Start of Dallas, AVANCE, and a host of others.

 

In Houston, we're serving 23 elementary schools in the Spring ISD, 15 middle schools in our Aldine-Spring Middle School Dropout Prevention Project, 13 AVANCE campuses, along with a host of community service groups.

 

Over and over again, we see God's unconditional love working miracles in people's lives!
